MONOFLEX GENERAL PROPERTIES:

DURABEC'S MONOFLEX is a single course, instant set, high build, polymer modified asphaltic membrane. Water borne and applied at ambient temperatures. A nominal thickness of 60 - 120 dry mils. Non-toxic VOC free and odorless. Can be applied over virtually any substrate, including metal, concrete, asphalt or plywood. Manufactured by Durabec Inc., Montreal, QC (514) 613-0405.

RECOMMENDED USE:

On virtually all substrates (concrete, metal, plywood, fiberboard, geotextile, asphalt). See specification guide.


NOT RECOMMENDED FOR:

Areas subjected to strong solvent or light end hydrocarbon exposures; or over coal tar pitch, unless properly sealed; or directly over EPS board; substrates exhibiting >20% moisture.


COMPATIBLE COATINGS:

May be top coated with epoxys, polyurethane, geotextiles, rigid insulation boards, acrylics and other elastomerics as approved by Durabec Inc.

TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE: (Non-Immersion)

Continuous: 175°F (79°C) Non-continuous: 250°F (121°C)

RECOMMENDED DRY THICKNESS:

Can be applied in one coat at virtually any desired thickness. 60-120 mils recommended for most applications


LIMITATIONS:

Should not be applied when the ambient temperature is < 5°C.
